Seems like Mamta Mohandas is on a royal ride these days. Hardly had she completed Sathyan Anthikkad's fiftieth film in which she has been cast opposite Jayaram, Mamta has secured for herself yet another plum project.The actress would be seen as Mammootty's heroine in the mega star's upcoming film 'Ganapathi' to be directed by V M Vinu.
Mamta had practically disappeared from the scene after her highly controversial appearance in the film 'Lanka'. She went on to act in several other South Indian films, and was even rumored to be making an entry into Bollywood that never happened. She even ventured into playback singing and her song 'Daddy Mummy..' from 'Villu' has remained a chart buster for almost an year now.
She made a comeback to Malayalam films last year through 'Passenger'. And now, with the Sathyan Anthikkad film and V N Vinu film in her kitty, Mamta seems all set to stay on in Malluwood for a while.
