Hit-making director Shafi, who had tasted bitter failure for the first time recently with 'Lollypop', is to team up with Mammootty and deliver a film in 2010.
Shafi and Mammootty had earlier come together in 'Thommanum Makkalum' and 'Mayavi'. Another project of theirs, titled 'Mallanum Mathevanum' (to be produced by Anto Joseph, Benny P. Nayarambalam and Shafi under the banner of ABS Combines) was also announced recently, but nothing more has been heard about it.
And now comes the news that Shafi's Mammootty film, to be produced by Murali Films will happen in 2010. Murali Films, the banner that had given us many popular movies, makes a comeback after a gap with this as yet unnamed movie, which will feature script by James Albert ('Mallanum Mathevanum' was to be scripted by Benny P.
